Galatians 3:25

SCRIPTURE

"But now faith that is come, we are no longer under a tutor." — Galatians 3:25 (ASV)

The two most important points of the previous verses are repeated for emphasis: first, the time element—we were under the law as pedagogue until the faith should come; second, the reference to the fully revealed faith of Christianity. Paul is here thinking historically, stressing that the reign of law has ended for those believers who now through the coming of Jesus have become mature sons and daughters of God.
