"And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice: and they shall become one flock, one shepherd." — John 10:16 (ASV)

The sheep “not of this sheep pen” probably refers to the Gentiles to whom Jesus sent his disciples (Matthew 28:19; Acts 1:8) and whom he planned to include in his salvation. He also stresses this idea of unity in his farewell prayer (17:20).
