"It is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true." — John 5:32 (ASV)

“There is another who testifies in my favor” could refer either to the Father or to John the Baptist, both of whom are mentioned in the context. The latter is the more likely here, since the witness of John the Baptist follows immediately in v.33 and seems to be the elaboration of the statement in v.32.
