"In that very hour there came certain Pharisees, saying to him, Get thee out, and go hence: for Herod would fain kill thee." — Luke 13:31 (ASV)

Some Pharisees choose this time to warn Jesus of Herod’s designs on his life. Luke attributes no evil motive to those who are warning Jesus; apparently these Pharisees have Jesus’ safety at heart.
