Expositor's Bible Commentary Commentary Luke 22:58

"And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou also art [one] of them. But Peter said, Man, I am not." — Luke 22:58 (ASV)

After a brief time, someone else, a man this time, made another charge. In none of these dialogues does Jesus’ name actually appear. The assumption is that the recent events in Jesus’ life were already known to the group in the courtyard.
