"And they were all filled with wrath in the synagogue, as they heard these things;" — Luke 4:28 (ASV)
Nazareth lay among the ridges of the southern slopes of the Galilean hills. Jesus allowed the crowds to drive him out of the town (as he later did on going to the place of crucifixion). But it was not yet his time to die, and by some unexplained means he made his way out.
