Mark 1:45

SCRIPTURE

"But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to spread abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into a city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter." — Mark 1:45 (ASV)

The leper acted consistent with human nature. The prohibition against telling what had happened to him made him all the more eager to proclaim it everywhere. Jesus thus had to curtail his public ministry, avoiding the towns and choosing rather to stay in more isolated places. But even in his isolation, people managed to find him.
