Expositor's Bible Commentary Commentary Mark 10:28

"Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee." — Mark 10:28 (ASV)

This verse begins what is probably a new incident that Mark places here because it fits the theme. In contrast to the rich man who failed to give up what he had and to follow Jesus, Peter was wondering what reward was in store for them (cf. Matthew 19:27).
