SCRIPTURE
"And when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshipped him;" — Mark 5:6 (ASV)
The man fell on his knees in front of Jesus (an act of homage, not worship). The demon showed respect because he recognized that he was confronted with one greatly superior to him.
