Expositor's Bible Commentary Commentary Mark 7:30

"And she went away unto her house, and found the child laid upon the bed, and the demon gone out." — Mark 7:30 (ASV)

Jesus was pleased with the woman’s reply. It revealed to him not only her wit but also her faith and humility, and he responded by declaring that her daughter had been healed (this is the only instance of healing at a distance found in Mark’s gospel). The woman returned home and discovered the truth of what Jesus had said.
