"The second Woe is past: behold, the third Woe cometh quickly." — Revelation 11:14 (ASV)

All the events from 9:13 to 11:14 fall under the sixth trumpet and are called the second “woe” (9:12). Since further judgments are mentioned in this chapter, it is natural to see at the sounding of the seventh trumpet (vv.15–19) the third woe taking place. Its nature is described in the bowl judgments (16:11ff.). Apparently the third woe will come without further delay. Indeed, the seventh trumpet (v.15) brings us to the final scenes of God’s unfolding mystery (10:7).
