Revelation 19:5

SCRIPTURE

"And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, Give praise to our God, all ye his servants, ye that fear him, the small and the great." — Revelation 19:5 (ASV)

This final praise is spoken by a single voice from the throne (cf. 16:17). The voice is probably neither that of God nor of Christ because of the words “our Lord God Almighty reigns” (v.6). “Praise our God, all you his servants” reflects Ps 113:1; “you who fear him, both small and great” reflects Ps 115:13 (cf. Psalms 135:1, 20). All socioeconomic distinctions are transcended in the united worship of the church (cf. 11:18; 13:16; 19:18; 20:12).
