John Calvin Commentary 1 Corinthians 16:14

"Let all that ye do be done in love." — 1 Corinthians 16:14 (ASV)

Let all your things be done in love (1 Corinthians 16:14). Again, he repeats what is the rule in all those transactions in which we have dealings with one another. He wishes, then, that love should be the guide; because the Corinthians erred chiefly in this respect—that everyone looked to himself without caring for others.
