John Calvin Commentary Acts 10:23

"So he called them in and lodged them. And on the morrow he arose and went forth with them, and certain of the brethren from Joppa accompanied him." — Acts 10:23 (ASV)

And Peter also, being overcome with the authority of God, deliberates no longer, but lodges the men, to go with them immediately. So we must meekly submit ourselves to God; and nothing remains after we know his will, but to run speedily to where he calls us. There is no difficulty in the rest.
