John Calvin Commentary John 11:7

"Then after this he saith to the disciples, Let us go into Judaea again." — John 11:7 (ASV)

And after this, he says to his disciples. Finally, he now shows that he cared about Lazarus, though the disciples thought that he had forgotten him, or, at least, that there were other matters which he considered of more importance than the life of Lazarus. He therefore instructs them to cross the Jordan, and go to Judea.
