"And the sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema." — 1 Chronicles 2:43 (ASV)

And the sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema . ] One of these, Tappuah, is the name of a city in the tribe of Judah, (Joshua 15:34) and there is also Bethtappuah in the same tribe, (1 Chronicles 2:53) which one, or both, might have their name from this man; and Shema also, (1 Chronicles 2:26) .
