John Gill Commentary 1 Chronicles 8:34

"And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal begat Micah." — 1 Chronicles 8:34 (ASV)

And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal
The same with Mephibosheth, (2 Samuel 4:4) (9:6) so Jerubbaal is called Jerubbesheth, (Judges 6:32) (2 Samuel 11:21)

and Meribbaal begat Micah ;
called his young son in David's time, (2 Samuel 9:12) .
