"And it came to pass, as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to-morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria;" — 2 Kings 7:18 (ASV)

And it came to pass, as the man of God had spoken to the
king, saying
As in (2 Kings 7:1) , and what he said to the king there, and to the lord, in (2 Kings 7:2) , are repeated in this and the next verse, that it might be observed how exactly the prophecies were fulfilled.
