So Joab arose and went to Geshur
Where Absalom was with his grandfather, the king of the place; see (2 Samuel 13:37 2 Samuel 13:38) ;

and brought Absalom to Jerusalem ;
from thence, which, according to Bunting ^F20 , was the distance of eighty eight miles from it.
