John Gill Commentary Deuteronomy 16:20

"That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee." — Deuteronomy 16:20 (ASV)

That which is altogether just you shall follow
Or "justice", "justice" ^F1 , strict justice, and nothing else:

that you may live and inherit the land which the Lord your God
gives you ;
that is, continue in the possession of it.
