John Gill Commentary

John Gill Commentary
"Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor`s landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen." — Deuteronomy 27:17 (ASV)
Cursed [be] he that removeth his neighbour's landmark
Removes it backward, and steals ground, as Jarchi explains it; this is commonly done secretly; see (Deuteronomy 19:14) ; and all the people shall say Amen; (See Gill on Deuteronomy 27:15); (See Gill on Deuteronomy 27:16).
