"Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?" — Ezekiel 33:11 (ASV)

Say unto them, as I live, saith the Lord The following is the answer returned from the Lord by the prophet to their complaint and reasoning. It is prefaced by God's oath, showing the certainty, reality, and sincerity of what is said, which can be depended on as true.
