SCRIPTURE

"At the west side four thousand and five hundred [reeds], with their three gates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one." — Ezekiel 48:34 (ASV)

At the west side four thousand and five hundred Measures or reeds; so many were the length of this side; the same with north, south, and east, and made a foursquare; and such the city was, as the New Jerusalem is said to be, (Revelation 21:16): with their three gates: one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali; the situation of these gates on all sides, east, west, north, and south, show that in the latter day people will flock from all quarters to the church of Christ, and that there will be an open and free access of all persons into it; see (Isaiah 2:2) (Isaiah 43:5Isaiah 43:6) (Isaiah 49:12Isaiah 49:18) (Isaiah 40:4Isaiah 40:5) .
