John Gill Commentary

John Gill Commentary
"And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is an abomination; it shall not be accepted:" — Leviticus 19:7 (ASV)
And if it be eaten at all on the third day
Or "in eating be eaten" F11 any of it be eaten, the least bit of it:
it [is] abominable ;
it is as any common thing, as if it was no sacrifice; yes, as if it was corrupt and putrefied flesh; no, as what is abominable to God: and therefore it follows,
it shall not be accepted ;
of the Lord, but rejected, his will not being attended to.
