"And he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about." — Leviticus 8:19 (ASV)

And he killed it
That is, Moses killed the ram, as the Septuagint version expresses it:

and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about ;
as he did the blood of the bullock, (Leviticus 8:15) .
