John Gill Commentary Leviticus 9:14

"And he washed the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt-offering on the altar." — Leviticus 9:14 (ASV)

And he washed the inwards and the legs As Moses also had done (Leviticus 8:21) and burnt [them] upon the burnt offering on the altar upon the pieces and the head mentioned before, said to be burnt, or "after" the burnt offering (after they were burnt). The Septuagint version is as before.
