"For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled." — Luke 21:22 (ASV)

For these be the days of vengeance
Of God's vengeance on the Jewish nation, for their rejection and crucifixion of the Messiah;

that all things which are written may be fulfilled ;
