"And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace." — Luke 8:48 (ASV)

And he said to her, daughter Instead of frowning upon her, and chiding her for what she had done, he addressed her in a very affable and affectionate manner; bidding her be of good comfort; and not be afraid; this clause is left out in the Vulgate Latin version, as in (Mark 5:34) but is in the copies, and other versions.
