"And they all left him, and fled." — Mark 14:50 (ASV)

And they all forsook him and fled .
] That is, his disciples, as the Vulgate Latin, Syriac, Arabic, Persic, and Ethiopic versions read; and who seem to have transcribed it from Matthew, and lest it should be thought, that the multitude whom Christ addressed, were intended.
