"And he also that [received] the two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: lo, I have gained other two talents." — Matthew 25:22 (ASV)

He also that had received two talents
A lesser degree of ministerial gifts; He who received next to the other, and was the next, having traded and gained in proportion to what he had received, is mentioned in the next place, as giving in his account; who

came and said, Lord, you delivered to me two talents, behold I
have gained two other talents besides them :
his account, abating the sum and gains, is given in, in the same form as the other.
