And the Lord spoke to Moses
After the giving of the above laws, and the order for stoning the sabbath breaker; what follows is rather connected with them, because it was to remind them of these and all other commands; and the precept directed to is of so much importance, that the Jews say, and Jarchi particularly, that it is equivalent to all the commands, and which he gives as the reason for its being placed here:
