And his host
That is, the host of Benjamin;

and those that were numbered of them, [were] thirty and five thousand
and four hundred .
35,400 men. The least number of all the tribes, excepting the tribe of Manasseh, (Numbers 2:21) ; see (Numbers 1:37) .
