SCRIPTURE

"The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life; But violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. Hatred stirreth up strifes; But love covereth all transgressions. In the lips of him that hath discernment wisdom is found; But a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. Wise men lay up knowledge; But the mouth of the foolish is a present destruction." — Proverbs 10:11-14 (ASV)

In every age, there are monsters of ingratitude who ill-treat their parents. Many persuade themselves they are holy people, whose hearts are full of sin and who practice secret wickedness. There are others whose lofty pride is manifest. There have also been cruel monsters in every age.
