Matthew Henry Commentary Proverbs 10:14-15

"Wise men lay up knowledge; But the mouth of the foolish is a present destruction. The rich man`s wealth is his strong city: The destruction of the poor is their poverty." — Proverbs 10:14-15 (ASV)

Those are fools who, to obtain the favour of an earthly prince, throw themselves out of God's favour.
