SCRIPTURE

"As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, So is the sluggard to them that send him. The fear of Jehovah prolongeth days; But the years of the wicked shall be shortened." — Proverbs 10:26-27 (ASV)

Those who fear the Lord so as to obey and serve him have a strong ground of confidence and will be preserved. Let us seek this Fountain of life that we may escape the snares of death.

Every man ought to be just to himself and his family; those are not just who, by folly or other carelessness, waste what they have.
