Matthew Henry Commentary Proverbs 10:6-7

"Blessings are upon the head of the righteous; But violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. The memory of the righteous is blessed; But the name of the wicked shall rot." — Proverbs 10:6-7 (ASV)

Religion teaches us humility and self-denial. The one who has seen the glory of the Lord in Christ Jesus will feel his own unworthiness.

What mischief bad men do to themselves by their ungoverned tongues!
