"The king`s favor is toward a servant that dealeth wisely; But his wrath will be [against] him that causeth shame." — Proverbs 14:35 (ASV)

The great King who reigns over heaven and earth, will reward faithful servants who honour his gospel by the proper discharge of the duties of their stations: he does not despise the services of the lowest.
