SCRIPTURE

"A worthless man deviseth mischief; And in his lips there is as a scorching fire. A perverse man scattereth abroad strife; And a whisperer separateth chief friends." — Proverbs 16:27-28 (ASV)

Ungodly men take more pains to do mischief than would be necessary to do good. The whisperer separates friends: what a hateful, but how common a character!
