SCRIPTURE
"When the scoffer is punished, the simple is made wise; And when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge." — Proverbs 21:11 (ASV)
The simple may be made wise by punishments on the wicked, and by instructions to those who are willing to be taught.
