Matthew Henry Commentary Proverbs 26:12

"Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool than of him." — Proverbs 26:12 (ASV)

We see many a person who has some little sense, but is proud of it. This describes those who think their spiritual state is good, when it is really very bad.
