Matthew Henry Commentary Proverbs 28:6

"Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, Than he that is perverse in [his] ways, though he be rich." — Proverbs 28:6 (ASV)

An honest, godly, poor man is better than a wicked, ungodly, rich man; he has more comfort in himself, and is a greater blessing to the world.
