Matthew Henry Commentary

Matthew Henry Commentary
"An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous; And he that is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked." — Proverbs 29:27 (ASV)
The just person abhors the sins of the wicked and shuns their company. Christ exposed the wickedness of people, yet prayed for the wicked when they were crucifying Him. Hatred of sin in ourselves and others is a necessary part of the Christian character. But all who are unholy have a rooted hatred of godliness.
