A Psalm of David

Primary Scripture: Psalm 20
Verse 1
Jehovah hear thee in the day of thy calamity; The name of Jacob's mighty God defend and set thee high:
Verse 2
Help send thee from his holy place, and strength from Zion give.
Verse 3
Remember all thy offerings, and sacrifice receive. (Selah)
Verse 4
Grant thee according to thy heart; thy counsel all fulfill:
Verse 5
In thy salvation grated, we rejoice with shouting will. And in the name of our own God our banners we will rear: Most kindly hear thee may the LORD and answer all thy prayer.
Verse 6
Now know I that Jehovah will save his Messiah dear, With his right hand of strength; and from his holy heaven he'll hear.
Verse 7
In chariots some their confidence, and some in horses set; But of the LORD our God the name we never will forget.
Verse 8
So we shall rise and stand upright, while they bow down and fall. Save Lord, and hear us let the king, when we to him do call.
