Verse 1

Pressing forward our cause to win, Conqu’ring ever the hosts of sin, God’s strong arm we are trusting in, Battling for the right.

Forward all! let our watchword be, Let it echo from sea to sea, In His strength we shall victors be, Battling for the right.

Pressing on ‘neath the noontide’s glow; Caring not when the rough winds blow, Pausing not till the foe lies low, Battling for the right.
