Be Near Me, O my Savior

Verse 1

Be near me, O my Saviour, Reveal to me Thy grace, And help me live each moment As gazing on Thy face.

Verse 2

Dwell in me, O my Saviour, That I may dwell in Thee, And know, by thus abiding, How Thou canst make me free.

Verse 3

Thy life to me imparted, In fullness from above, Be all my strength for service, Be all my pow’r to love.

Verse 4

Thro’ Thee to evil dying, With Thee to God I’ll live, For Thee myself denying, By grace that Thou dost give.

Verse 5

Thus in the Spirit living, I shall responsive be, My service gladly giving, And live for only Thee.
