Primary Scripture: Psalm 119

Verse 1

My God, consider my distress, let mercy plead my cause; I would not sin against your grace, I’d not forget your laws.

Verse 2

Forbid, forbid the sharp reproach which I so justly fear; uphold my life, uphold my hopes, nor let my shame appear.

Verse 3

Be now a surety, God, for me, nor let some sin oppress; God, help your waiting servant see the shining of your face!

Verse 4

Look down upon my sorrows, Lord, and show your grace the same as you forever will afford the ones who love your name.
