Call for Workers

Verse 1

Hear the invitation sweeping o’er the land, Come and work for Jesus in thy youth; Walk in wisdom’s pathway, open is the gate, All may enter in who keep the truth.

Hark! the chorus swelling loud and long, “On to vit’ry at the King’s command!” ‘Tis the Church of Jesus, with a mighty voice Calling to the youth of ev’ry land.

Verse 2

Come in youth’s bright morning ere the shadows fall, See the Saviour waiting now for thee; Trust His loving kindness, hear His gentle voice, “Whosoever will may come to me.”

Verse 3

Serve the Lord with gladness, in His love rejoice; Blest are they who do His holy will; He will give thee power, He will give thee strength, And His blessed promises fulfill.
