Children of Sin No More Are We

Verse 1

Children of sin no more are we, For we to sin have died; With Jesus Christ on Calvary Our sins were crucified.

Verse 2

Our old Adamic nature there, (That made us go astray, That bound in sin and bred despair,) Died with Him, too, that day.

Verse 3

His Holy Spirit, too, He gives, An earnest of His grace, Sealing him who the truth believes In Christ, God's righteousness.

Verse 4

Glory to God! The truth makes free, The Spirit, word and blood For this one purpose doth agree, To make more like their God.
