Come Home

William Francis • English

Primary Scripture: Isaiah 1:18

Verse 1

The kind Shepherd seeks for the wandering sheep, Exposed to the storms and the cold; His love never tires, and His eyes never sleep, Till He brings them again to His fold.

Chorus

Then come, O come home to the Father above, His grace has provided for all; It may be the last time in mercy and love You ever will hear Jesus call.

Verse 2

‘Tis Jesus, the Savior, whose voice you have heard, To you he is calling today; He calls by His goodness and tenderness too, Then why will you longer delay?

Chorus

Then come, O come home to the Father above, His grace has provided for all; It may be the last time in mercy and love You ever will hear Jesus call.

Verse 3

Since the days of thy youth He has plead with you oft, His pleadings have yet been in vain; His great loving-kindness you could not deny, If He never should call you again.

Chorus

Then come, O come home to the Father above, His grace has provided for all; It may be the last time in mercy and love You ever will hear Jesus call.

Verse 4

Then come to the Father, accept of His grace, The raiment and feast in the hall; Now turn from your sins and obey Him at once, By hearing and heeding his call.

Chorus

Then come, O come home to the Father above, His grace has provided for all; It may be the last time in mercy and love You ever will hear Jesus call.
