Earnest Prayer

Verse 1

My Savior, hear the earnest prayer I humbly raise to thee; Thy word hath bid me cast my care On him who cares for me.

Verse 2

Tho’ sinful, as I know I am, Thy blood can make me whole; Thy word directs me to the Lamb Who died to save my soul.

Verse 3

Oh, help me, Savior, to repose More fully on thy word; For all shall work for good to those Who love and serve the Lord.
